This series was created by screenprinting isolated drawings onto digitally printed enlargements of pages from my sketchbook.
Sketchbooks are often private, but I like others to look through mine, as I feel they speak more honestly about me than I ever could. Whenever I draw in them, I am hyper-aware of the pages being seen by others and almost curate them with that in mind. Different aspects of identity are the focal point of these pieces, and different ways of depicting the self as well. The foreground subjects and background narratives intentionally interact with each other in some, while others hold unintentional surprises. Either way I invite you to look right through me.
